Senior Procurement Specialist

The Supplier Integrated Product Team (SIPT) Senior Procurement Specialist is responsible for the overall performance, management and reporting of internal suppliers to achieve prime contract technical, financial, and quality objectives in support of DoD & Government Contracts. SIPTs are involved throughout the product life cycle providing programs with proposal support, material strategies, post award administration, critical issue resolution, contract performance monitoring, and contract closure management. The individual may also be responsible for conducting and leading cost/price analysis in support of negotiations and managing contract scope changes for external suppliers. The role will work extensively with Integrated Product Teams including, but not limited to, Engineering, Quality, Operations and Program Office personnel along with other key functional groups to ensure on-time delivery of compliant product at or below program budget. Additional duties include providing routine status to Program Management and Supply Chain Management.
Required Skills:
Minimum of 4 years of experience with major complex assemblies or experience in Integrated Supply Chain management
Knowledge of MRP planning and implications to the supply base
Experience with FAR, DFAR, CAS, TINA based Procurements
Experience with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Experience with material and/or supplier management
Strong interpersonal skills with proven ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing with internal customers and suppliers.
Proven experience in handling multiple decisions based on workload dispersion, program priorities, and competing priorities
U.S. Citizenship status is required as this position will require the ability to access US only data systems.
Desired Skills:
Experience with supplier negotiations and associated procurement documentation
Integrated Product Team experience with demonstrated ability to lead people and/or teams
Experience with Government procurement/material acquisition
Experience with Six Sigma and productivity improvement
Experience with SAP, SAMS and data manipulation
Ability to read technical specifications and make sourcing decisions/recommendations based upon your evaluation
Ability to filter information from multiple sources to drive innovative solutions
Earned Value Management certification or equivalent
Required Education: Bachelor's Degree BS or BA in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Engineering or other related degree
Desired Education: Master's Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Engineering or other related degree

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
